Unknown Disappeared

A sleek car pulls up to a house. The Detective, a confident Black woman in her late 30s, steps out and meets a worried Woman, who types into Google Translate. Entering Barbie Rous’s eerily quiet apartment, the Detective finds Emiri, the missing twin, sitting calmly. As she approaches the bed and pulls back the blankets, horror strikes dark, writhing shadows pulse underneath. Emiri’s twisted face stares with white eyes. Before the Detective can react, the shadows wrap around her, pulling her in. Emiri, too, is consumed, merging with the darkness.
